Projects are the basis for working with schlau.io. You can open the project overview via the "Projects" navigation item or by clicking on the button labeled "Manage projects" in the dashboard. In the project overview, you can create new projects, open existing projects, adjust the settings of projects or delete projects that are no longer required.
You can create a new project by clicking on the button labeled “Create project” in the project overview. In the view that opens, you only need to enter the project name and the time zone of the project. You can freely assign the project name and change it at any time in the project settings if required. You should select the time zone so that it matches the time zone used in your advertising accounts. Please note that you cannot change the time zone of the project at a later date, as changing the time zone at a later date would result in incorrect data. As soon as you have specified the name and time zone of your project, you can click on the button labeled “Create project”. As soon as you have confirmed the button, your new project will be created and you will be redirected to the project overview.
Click on the button labeled “Open project” in the project overview to open the project detail view. Here you will find all the information you need to start the website integration, the Google Ads integration and the Microsoft Advertising integration.
If at least one click or at least one conversion has been recorded in the currently viewed project within the last 90 days, an area is displayed that shows you the data received. In the project detail view, the last recorded click and the last recorded event are displayed; this data is updated every 10 seconds. By clicking on the button labeled “Show more”, you can display the last 100 clicks and events received and initiate the update manually. Please note that this information is only used to check the website integration. To evaluate the results of the advertising campaigns, please check the corresponding accounts.
You can edit the settings of a project by clicking on the button labeled "Settings" in the project overview for the respective project. In the view that opens, you have the option of changing the name and status of the project, and the project number assigned by schlau.io and the selected time zone are also displayed. Please note that you cannot change the time zone of the project, as a change to the time zone would lead to incorrect data. You should also note that clicks and events are only recorded for active projects. If you set a project to inactive, no data will be recorded for this project until you reactivate it. Click on the "Save settings" button to save the current settings for your project and you will be redirected to the project overview.
You can delete a project by clicking on the button labeled "Delete project" for the respective project in the project overview and confirming the deletion of the project in the view that opens. Please note that only inactive projects can be deleted and only owners and administrators of the respective team are authorized to delete projects. You should also note that deleted projects cannot be restored. Therefore, you should only delete a project if you are absolutely sure that you no longer need it.
